Master of Health Services Administration

Accredited by CAHME. The objective of the Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree is to provide the student with mastery of the knowledge and skills for the effective administration of health service organizations across the continuum of care. Specifically, the student will understand the basic organizational, financial, legal, and managerial components of health services as they relate to a dynamic and evolving health care delivery system.

MHSA Mission

The mission of the MHSA degree program is consistent with the strategic missions and core values of Armstrong Atlantic State University and AASU’s College of Health Professions. The Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree program exists to provide convenient access to quality general educational programming opportunities in health services administration to a diverse body of students residing in the state of Georgia and surrounding areas. The primary educational mission of the MHSA program is supported by a programmatic commitment to applied scholarship in the fields of health administration, health policy, and health services research, as well as by a commitment to community and professional service.
