Jonathan Flanders, MHSA, BSMT, MT (ASCP) is Lean/Patient Safety Officer at Memorial Health University Medical Center and has held that position for the past year. He has implemented innovative safety projects including the MHUMC Accountability Model, safety coach program with 230 trained safety coaches, medication order safety system, implementation of Red Rules for safety, root cause, apparent cause and common cause analysis, Six Sigma tools and techniques and Lean implementation. He was previously the Team Member Relations Representative in Human Resources and Retention Strategist. Prior to that time he was Lead Medical Technologist in the Microbiology. Jonathan received a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
